Flash Gallery
Flash Gallery is a free application that allows to create online slideshow without any programming skills. The project was launched in April 2008 with intension to become the most popular application in the niche. Since the application itself is free and pretty cool, all it was missing is a little push, so we began our promotion work.
After reaching some critical mass in August, the popularity of the application has exploded and traffic started to grow exponentially. In October, we reached the mark of 25K visits per month converting to 5K downloads per month (meaning every fifth visitor was downloading the application).
Currently we receive thousands of visitors not only from search engines, but from social bookmarking services, blogs, etc.
